Teahouse runs natively on iPhone and iPad. The board scales to the screen you are on: smaller layouts on the phone where 144 tiles would be a squint, the full classic set on iPad where there is room for it.
Tap any tile — even one buried under three layers — and every tile in its group lights up wherever it is on the board. That single gesture is the whole point of a face-up mahjong game, and it is the thing the rest of the genre cannot offer, because their tiles are hidden.
One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac. Progress, streaks and the daily puzzle are per-device: there are no accounts and no servers, so nothing syncs and nothing is uploaded.
